Bem-vindo à Biblioteca Online do IPMA
Aqui poderá encontrar grande parte do acervo bibliográfico do IPMA, IP (livros e publicações periódicas), constituído pela agregação dos acervos dos antigos Instituto de Meteorologia, Instituto de Investigação das Pescas e do Mar e da Geologia Marinha do Laboratório Nacional de Energia e Geologia.
Este acervo constitui uma importante mais-valia para a ciência em Portugal, no que diz respeito a temas relacionados com o oceano (pescas, oceanografia física e biológica e geologia marinha), com a atmosfera (meteorologia e climatologia), com a geofísica e com o passado do planeta Terra, onde se destaca o estudo dos sedimentos marinhos para melhor conhecer a paleoceanografia e a paleoclimatologia.

Welcome to IPMA's Online Library
Here you can find most of the IPMA, IP (books and periodicals) bibliographic collection, consisting of the compilation of collections of former Portuguese Meteorology Institute, Portuguese Institute of Fisheries and Sea Research and Portuguese National Laboratory of Energy and Geology (the Marine Geology collection).
This collection is an important added value for science in Portugal, with regard to issues related to the ocean (fisheries, physical and biological oceanography and marine geology), the atmosphere (meteorology and climatology), geophysics and the past of planet Earth, where we highlight the study of marine sediments to better understand paleoceanography and paleoclimatology.
